来吧，别偷懒了。放下手机，关上电脑。看看周围你的书桌上，有没有什么其他的东西是特别重要的，几乎每天都要用的。或者，来到你的卧室，看看你的床，有没有什么是你每天睡觉都离不开的。
看了一圈发现，桌子上的水杯每天都要用，睡觉的枕头更是每晚都离不开。可是问题又来了，一个水杯，一个枕头，三言两语就说完了，怎么才能说够两分钟啊?
这个时候我们就要仔仔细细来看看题目要求了。
What you do with it? 你用它来做什么?
How it helps you in your life? 它怎么帮助你日常的生活?
Why you can’t live without it? 为什么你离不开它?
干枯的思路就是我每天用水杯来喝水，没有这个杯子我没法喝水。我每天睡觉都用枕头，不用我脖子疼。
那叫一个言简意赅，能不废话绝对不多说一句。
同学们，我们要详细描述，你用它喝什么水，茶水、咖啡、果汁还是白开水?一天喝几杯，杯子随身携带么，这个杯子长什么样，从哪来的，为什么你特别喜欢这个杯子……
至于枕头，同样，它是谁送给你的还是自己买的?在哪买的?花了多少钱，质量如何，用了多久了?跟别的枕头有什么不同?用了这个枕头再用别的枕头，感觉有什么明显差别?用了这个枕头之后睡眠质量有哪些改善?
差不多了。
这就是part2展开思路的过程，其实简单地说就是不要偷懒，不要敷衍，围绕着这个物品本身把跟它相关的一切关键词都列出来，然后展开描述。
接下来我们就以杯子为例，分享一个素材给大家。
先教大家一个单词，thermos，保温杯，注意这个单词的拼写，本身就带s, 不是复数哈。
I’d love to talk about a thermos that I bought a few years ago in a mall. I was simply wandering around and saw a shop that had many adorable cartoons on their products. I went inside and saw a thermos. I kind of fell in love with it immediately and paid for it without hesitation. The body is yellow with a duck and some other cute animals around it. The lid is orange. These two bright colors can always bring me a good mood. Somehow, I knew that it would be an important item in my life. And it does. Since I bought it, I have never stopped using it. I use it in my home every day. I would boil some hot water and mix the hot water with some cold water and then pour the water into this thermos. In this way, the water inside would keep a perfect temperature. No matter when I want to drink water, it always has the perfect taste. I never use it to keep other drinks because I worry it might be polluted. I only use it to keep water. Also, when I have long trips driving somewhere, I will fill it with hot water too. It’s difficult to get clean and tasty hot water in public places like those gas stations. No! I never drink hot water from those places. Except for that, I also take it to my work and many other places where I need to stay for over two hours. People would ask me about it because it looks like a thermos for little children but not for an adult like me. I would tell them that this is really an amazing bottle that they shouldn’t miss. Who said we can’s use things that are sold for children? It’s totally personal preferences. It’s interesting that I don’t usually buy cute things in my life. It’s really special that I would own such a useful item that has an adorable outlook. It’s great that it has brought me so much happy moments. I feel happier and healthier when I drink water with it. Anyways, it is currently one of the most important items in my life that I can’t live without.
